Our customer, a Yorkshire based Romanian and Moldavian Wine supplier, contacted us with a requirement for a non-working 40ft high cube refrigerated container.

Refrigerated containers are insulated containers which are designed to transport goods that need to remain at an ambient temperature. Once these containers reach the end of their working life, they can still be used because of the quality of their insulation. This quality means that heat does not transfer easily from the outside in and vice versa, therefore the units remain at a more stable temperature when compared with a standard shipping container. This makes them ideal for a wide range of applications… such as storing wine. The unit we supplied was also a 40ft high cube, which also provided an extra 1ft of storage height.
