TRI-DOOR SHIPPING CONTAINERS FOR SALE

Tri-doors are currently available 20ft x 8ft x 8ft 6in and 40ft x 8ft x 9ft 6in. They are built to the same specification as standard single trip (new) containers being that they have a set of double cargo doors at the rear end of the unit. The difference is that the tri-door containers also have an additional single cargo door fitted to the front wall of the container, creating a type of tunnel container. Having this additional access point is ideal for management of stock flow, if you regularly use the container and need to access different items and is more cost effective than having a single personnel door fitted.

The one trip tri-door containers are manufactured in China using A grade COR-TEN steel along with a 28mm marine ply wood floor. They are equipped with internal lashing points, container vents, forklift pockets and corner castings for lifting. The units are coated with marine standard container paint and are typically available in the colours blue and green.

Both the single door and the double doors are equipped with a steel lockbox to which should house a container padlock for maximum security. The right-hand door of the double door set is likely to have a single, longer locking bar as opposed to two locking bars. This door configuration makes for easier operation. The single door at the front wall will also have the same locking gear specification.
