Good quality facilities are key to a keeping a busy and popular campsite. The 3J team are all keen campers and so have experienced the good and the bad with campsite facilities. From mouldy grim shower blocks with plaster falling off the walls to sparkling 5* brick built comfort facilities, and do you know what? Our favourites by far have been steel portable cabins which are maintained well with a good hot water supply. Clean, simple and perfect for washing off that barbecue smell.
Portable Accommodation Units
Portable accommodation units are easy to deliver to places such as campsites as they can be delivered by small vehicles and lifted in many ways with different machinery. They are plug and play so there is no time wasted on installation and can be maintained and cleaned easily.
Toilet and Shower Accommodation Units
There is a lovely little campsite in Shropshire that we visit often, its next to a little stream and you can walk through the woods to the pub. They have used container accommodation units for their facilities which include separate male and female toilet blocks, each with a disabled toilet. Plus, a shower block with three individual shower cubicles and a changing space. The units have steel exteriors which are painted to a neutral colour to suit the surroundings. A really great set up for a site that’s very busy in the summer.
Campsite Storage Containers
Other options that might be useful for campsites, particularly those with bell tents, glamping pods or similar, are storage containers. All our storage containers are secure and fully weatherproof. Available in sizes from 10ft to 40ft, with added Grafo-Therm anti condensation treatment, they make for the perfect winter storage space for camping kit.
