Our client, offering ferry crossings to the Isle of Wight from Portsmouth was seeking a solution at their coastal depot for workshop and storage facilities. They approached us to see if a container would work for them as they would need to be loading heavy and oversized equipment in and out of the workshop and stores area. After various conversations, we recommended a 20ft container with a 5 metre roller shutter installed in the side panel. This would make access in and out easy whilst being able to have extra space available with the roller shutter up during good weather.

The original cargo doors of the container were also retained making it simpler still if access to the container was required for smaller items.

Using our tried and tested network of delivery partners, we were able to meet deadlines to get the container from our container modification workshop to the Isle of Wight. However, we always like a bit of a challenge, and as you can see from the photographs the day of delivery was particularly windy! Thank goodness for our highly skilled HiAb operators!
