We built a 5ft custom storage unit for our catering customer in Bristol who required extra storage space, but only a small area to put it in.

Our catering customer based in Bristol required extra storage space, but only had a very small space for it. They contacted us to see if there was anything we could supply to help them, of course there was.

The space would just about fit a 5ft storage unit in, so we custom built just that for them, 5ft x 11ft to be precise. We painted it green, installed a single panel outward opening door and 18mm ply flooring. Because this unit would be storage catering goods, they required shelving to maximise the space available. We installed 3 tier timber shelving down one side, constructed from CLS and timber shelves. To allow them to store items between the ground and the bottom shelf, we left the kick boards off.

Small things really do come in small packages, and we’ve really helped them to maximise the limited space that they had, the customer is delighted.

An excellent company to deal with! From the outset we were offered excellent advice on different containers etc, and Gordon even visited to our site to confirm that what we wanted would fit, and that the haulage Co could get the container into place. The haulage driver Chris was a magician with how he accessed a tight location, and place the container with pinpoint accuracy. A legend in his own right!! From the offset the company helped us get just what we needed. Explained the differences in sizes and quality and adjusted the delivery to cope with our site.... The delivery timing didn't go quite as planned but was not a problem and was remedied the next day.
