Our customer, a community organisation based in Northwich was desperate for some extra storage and for a container to be located outside their premises. We had a number of conversations where it quickly materialised that the customer had recently been the victim of scammers who had promised the world and then unfortunately not delivered. We worked hard with the customer to make them feel at ease.
After the customer sent some photographs of site, it quickly became apparent that a standard hiab delivery would not be possible. It would not be possible to offload the container parallel to the vehicle, there were overhead cables, a no stopping zone and a junction very close by. The customer was extremely disappointed as they really needed a 20ft container but we had an alternative option of course! We delivered the container as close to site as we could and then utilised a ‘Mule’. The Mule is an all-terrain remote control driven machine, an incredible piece of equipment that can get containers into awkward locations that would usually be considered impossible, including over grass! It is a real game-changer for customers and so easy and convenient, we are really pleased to be able to offer this service. The container was delivered swiftly and easily by experienced operatives and the customer was thrilled to get it into place.
Due to the nature of what the customer was storing, it was imperative that the stored equipment be kept dry and protected. We therefore applied Grafo-Therm, an anti-condensation coating, to the ceiling of the container.
