We store our shipping containers, storage containers and cabins in depots up and down the UK. Below is a list of our locations and the services that we offer from each of these areas. Our nationwide delivery service means that we can deliver any type of unit directly to you. The 3J Services team also travel the country meeting clients, suppliers and visiting the depots regularly for stock checks and conversions progress reviews. By working with a variety of container depots, it enables us to provide a fast and efficient services with competitive prices all around the country.

Shipping Container Depots

3J Services Ltd are based near the West Midlands. Locally we store in Cannock, Tamworth, Aldridge and Birmingham. Our containers in the West Midlands are also delivered into Mid Wales! From here we can offer:

Our team spends a lot of time in the North West as this is where our main container conversion facility is located along with where high volumes of our containers are stocked (Liverpool and Manchester). Storing here gives us the ability to provide cheap delivery into North Wales. Here you can find:

Our standard storage and shipping containers are held in the North East depots (Leeds, Hull and Newcastle upon Tyne) so from here we can offer fantastic rates on 20ft and 40ft, new and quality used units along with fast delivery services.

New containers are sometimes known as ‘one-way’ or ‘once shipped’ containers.

Aesthetically, they are much neater than used containers, generally speaking they are available in blue or green.

As two of the main container ports in the UK (Southampton and Felixstowe), high volumes of containers arrive in these depots every day. Containers that arrive into Southampton and Felixstowe are often distributed around the country by road and rail. From here we can offer the best prices on new (once shipped) containers, specialist containers and used stock when delivered locally or purchased in bulk.

From these two depots (Bristol and Cardiff) you may see our 20ft and 40ft storage containers heading out for delivery around South Wales, Devon and Cornwall! Both depots are smaller in size so capacity is a lower than other areas, this is a massive benefit if you need your container quickly!

Our storage facilities in Aberdeen and Grangemouth near Glasgow both have the ability to provide certified shipping containers, as well as storage units and simple container conversions such as painting. Here we also store DNV container stock. The majority of the containers stored in Scotland are railed up from Felixstowe or Southampton as this is the most cost effective way of moving stock up to the North.

Health and Safety in Container Depots

We would like to make you aware that the container depots will not allow access to the public to view units due to Insurance, Health and Safety. Containers are moved around in depot using large plant and heavy machinery such as spreaders and forklift trucks. To gain access to a container depot, we must halt movements of stock which causes delays for the depot, the various teams at work, container hauliers waiting to collect and hauliers bringing stock in. This costs the depot a considerable amount of time and money.

Great service provided from those in the office getting it sorted and then the driver who dropped it off with a Hiab. Would love to know how far the container has travelled in its life! I got a used container and its definitely that (had some welding repairs here and there), but 100% it is a very good serviceable condition with many years of life left in it. Many thanks indeed. An excellent company to deal with! From the outset we were offered excellent advice on different containers etc, and Gordon even visited to our site to confirm that what we wanted would fit, and that the haulage Co could get the container into place. Laura put my mind at ease about the whole thing, & Sophie had the paperwork sorted in a jiffy. All was organised quickly, and efficiently. The haulage driver Chris was a magician with how he accessed a tight location, and place the container with pinpoint accuracy. A legend in his own right!!
