Our client, a firm operating several garden centres across the country, was looking for canteen facilities for its staff working outdoors. They needed an anti-vandal steel unit exceeding 20ft long which had heating, lighting, power points and a sink unit with cupboards for staff to enjoy their breaks in a warm and comfortable environment. However, budget was a factor so they were hoping to obtain a good quality used unit.
Offices and canteens, or anti-vandal accommodation units as they are sometimes known can vary in size and specification. They have usually been previously utilized on building sites and by a variety of firms so it is often difficult to specify a layout with them. That said, if our customers are able to accept some flexibility they can be a really cost effective solution.
We were able to offer our client a 24ft x 9ft unit. It was of steel construction with a personnel door, windows with anti-vandal shutters, vinyl flooring, lining and insulation, a sink unit with cupboards, lighting, heating and power points. It ticked all of the boxes and the client was pleased to take delivery within a week of placing their order.
