3J Services Ltd were recently happy to assist with a requirement for a lifeboat charity in the East of England.
The organisation required 2 x 10ft new containers, one was for storage of goods and had to be kept free of condensation. The second was for storage of liquids. Interestingly, due to the final location of the containers, near the coastline, the units had to be painted to a very bespoke specification, similar to the specification used for DNV / off-shore containers in order to ensure longevity. The containers were painted to a C5 standard designed for highly corrosive environments and providing high durability and anti-corrosion protection. Whilst the main purpose of this paint job was protection rather than aesthetics, we think they looked superb!
Along with the lining, both containers were fitted with meshed louvre vents to assist with air flow in the containers.
We were so pleased to play our part in this project.
