The PTA of the school were utilising old sheds for the storage of their fund raising equipment and materials and the school were using the same for their sports equipment. The sheds had begun to leak and the items stored had started to suffer from the effects of condensation.

It was important that the school and the PTA had separate containers and so the 10fts were recommended. As 10ft containers are not a standard ISO container size, they have to be cut down from larger containers, as part of this process we paint the containers and fit a security lockbox (a steel shroud that fits over the locking lug which makes it difficult to access the padlock with wire cutters and similar tools). This was particularly beneficial for the school as it was imperative that the containers looked good and were secure, they also had security padlocks.
As many of the materials had suffered from the effects of condensation, the school sought an ongoing and lasting solution to this. 3J Services recommended Grafo-Therm anti-condensation coating to be applied to the ceiling of the container. This is a product used by many self storage companies around the country and we have found that it works really well so this extra option was selected.
On the day of delivery, the containers had to be off-loaded over a fence, we were pleased to have carried out a site visit in advance and confirmed a lifting plan which got the containers safely in place. The school children were overjoyed to watch the Hiab (craned) vehicle drop the containers into place.
The school were very satisfied with their final order, and we are sure you agree that they look great!
