The Brief
Our client, a dog trainer based in Scotland, was looking for a secure 20ft container to provide additional storage. As the container would need to be accessed regularly, he also wanted a personnel door fitted to make getting in and out easier. The finished container needed to be green, secure and smart, while providing a practical and durable storage solution.
The Challenge
The customer needed a container that offered more than just additional storage. It needed to provide easy access without compromising on security, while also looking neat and tidy in its surroundings. Finding a solution that combined the right colour, security features, durability and accessibility was key.
Our Solution
We recommended a new 20ft container. These containers have typically been used once to transport goods into the UK before entering the domestic sales market, making them an excellent option for customers looking for a clean, secure and cost-effective container. They come with a number of useful features as standard, including PU-coated marine plywood flooring, ventilation, easy-opening doors and a lockbox. The lockbox is a steel cowl fitted over the container’s locking mechanism, helping to prevent access using wire cutters and similar tools. New containers are generally available in blue or green, making the green option an ideal fit for our customer’s requirements. To provide the convenient access required, we also fitted one of our steel personnel doors. These doors feature a 10-point locking system, providing excellent security while making regular access into and out of the container quick and easy.
The Result
Once the fabrication work was complete, the container left our Liverpool fabrication facility and made its way to Scotland. The finished container provided exactly what our customer was looking for: a smart, secure and practical 20ft storage solution with the added convenience of a dedicated personnel door. Our customer was thrilled with the end result!
