Fairfield Stud is a stunning stud farm and pre training yard based in Lincolnshire. We first started talking to them about their storage requirements back in December 2025 when it was decided that they required a 20ft container and due to the exceptional surroundings of the business, the best option would be a new green container. There was however a sticking point. The container had to be delivered over a single storey barn. We usually work on the reach of HiAbs being around 12m for a standard parallel off-load, so, we knew straight away that a HiAb with a little bit more flexibility would be needed. We were able to obtain some pictures and measurements from our customer to build a full picture of the delivery site for our haulier without the need for a site visit. We use multiple trusted hauliers around the country, most of which we have worked with for many, many years. We trust them and frequently lean on their expertise to make sure we are getting the right vehicle to the job!
Our haulier was able to tell us straight away that the job would be possible with a vehicle in their fleet that is able to off-load the container over the front of the cab. The delivery went ahead at the beginning of 2026 without a hitch and the driver was kind enough to share with us some rather impressive photos of the containers being off-loaded.
