We have recently worked with a safety and security company to supply and convert a 10ft container to be used as turnstile housing. Our client specialises in the supply of biometric, facial recognition and alarmed turnstile systems for access on construction sites.
Turnstile Shipping Containers
Shipping containers are the perfect option to house turnstiles as they are easily transported, secure and robust. When converting a container for turnstiles we can tailor the units to suit the type of turnstile and other safety systems being used along with appropriate sized access points, fitted electrics, windows and paintwork to match company colours.
The unit we supplied for this project was a 10ft x 8ft new container with two roller shutter doors, one high security personnel door, a partition wall with a sliding window, two container windows with steel shutters and a full electrics package. The exterior of the unit was painted to Pantone 295C.
On completion in our Liverpool depot, the container was delivered to our client’s site in Birmingham.
